Bollington Branch

The British Legion was formed on 15 May 1921, bringing together four National Organisations of ex-Servicemen that had established themselves after the First World War. 
 

 
The Bollington Branch was one of the original, with a Branch number of 007.
We would like to welcome new members, both Civilian and ex-Service personnel. 
Monthly meeting 2nd Wednesday of the month.7.30pm

Kerridge War Memorial

The committee is composed of local Kerridge ex-servicemen and invited local Kerridge residents. They meet at Bulls Head, Jackson Lane,Kerridge 3-4 times a year. 
The War Memorial is a private war memorial, bought by Kerridge people in 1918 to the memory of their loved ones lost in the great war and now also those of the 1939-45 war. The War Memorial & surrounding gardens are maintained to a high standard by the committee, supported by voluntary subscriptions and donations which are always gratefully received. Annual War Memorial Service and Parade is held on the 2nd Sunday in July at 3.00 pm at the War Memorial, Oak Lane, Kerridge, at which a public collection is taken.
