Events at Bollington Library

Children’s Event: Marc Jackson, Cartoonist, Friday 28th July 2-3.30pm. Tickets are £5 per child. Suitable for primary aged children and above, please call 01625 378266 for more information.  Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are limited.

 

The following events are on at Bollington Library in August 2017:

 

Summer Reading Challenge Continues until 9th September. Theme this year is Animal Agents. Children to read a total of 6 books and in return they will receive a collector’s card and stickers.

 

Children’s Events: All events are suitable for primary aged children and above, please call 01625 378266 for more information and to book places.  Children must be accompanied by an adult. Spaces are limited.

Wednesday 2nd August: Visit From Chester Zoo, 10.45-11.45am, No Charge, Need To book.

Tuesday 8th August: Lego Club with a  Special Guest Appearance by Emily the local PCSO, 4-5pm, No Charge, drop in.

Thursday 10th August: Drop in Crafts with Traditional Games to Play, 2-4pm,£1

Friday 11th August : Children’s Monthly Book Club, 3.45-4.45pm Suitable for children aged 7 and above, No Charge, Need to book.

Thursday 17th August: Animations In Minecraft,  1 hour slots from 10am until 3.30pm, No Charge, Need to book

Wednesday 23rd August: Fun Science & Secret Messages Workshop, 11.30-12.30pm, £3, Need to Book

Tuesday 29th August: Drop in Crafts: Junk Modelling and Decorate a Biscuit, 2-4pm, 50p per activity.

 

Children’s Regular Weekly Events: Story Time at 10am on Tuesdays and Rhyme Time at 10am on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers these sessions are free and will continue throughout the school holidays.

 

Book Club for Adults, Tuesday 1st August, 6:00 – 7:00pm. Reading Group – please call 01625 378266 for more information.  New members welcome.

Story and Tea for Adults, Thursday 10th August, 2pm – 3pm. Join us for reading and refreshments and share your love of books. Free, all adults welcome.
