The Waterhouse Mill Bridge and Footpath to Adlington Road

Do I detect some progress here in terms of access through this of the Middlewood Way the Waterside Mill Housing Development to the Bollington Recreation Ground?

Well the good news is YES.

Cheshire East has had the arch surveyed and it is safe to pass through without expensive waterproofing and the only action required is to remove a section of Ivy. Also the path has been nicely surfaced with what is known as hoggin, Bellways have finished the bridge over the River Dean and all that is now required is to get Bellways to remove the Heras fencing at their end.

After a great deal of pushing on this issue we seem to be winning and are very hopeful of having a grand opening before the end of this month.
