The first National NHS, Social Care & Frontline Workers Day is on 5th July the 73rd Anniversary of the founding of the NHS and a programme of national celebrations is planned for that day. On the 3/4th July we are planning a picnic/party for the front-line workers who support our community with a 3.3 mile “Thank You Trail” from the Recreation Ground to White Nancy (via Ingersley Vale) lined with messages of thanks and acknowledgement of the work of NHS, Social Care and Frontline workers and those who have served our community throughout the covid pandemic. With the help of musicians, bands, and entertainers we hope create a walking trail with a carnival feel.
