Together Apart

Nick Wright from Canalside Radio has worked hard to update and reproduce the Together Apart Christmas Eve broadcast from last year.  So despite having to cancel the traditional Carols around the Tree event, there will be carol singing on Christmas Eve.

Tune into Canalside radio on FM 102.8 at 5.30pm on Christmas Eve for some Christmas music then join in (inside homes or on the doorstep) and sing along to the carols accompanied by Bollington Brass Band at 6pm.  We are recommending using FM, rather than digital, wherever possible so that the broadcast can be synchronised.  The Carols Service Sheet can be viewed here.

Following this, there will be carols accompanied by St. Paul’s choir.  The carols will be as follows and the words to the two additional carols can be viewed on this Carols Sheet:

  • Hark the Herald Angels Sing
  • Away in a Manger
  • The First Noel
  • Ding Dong Merrily on High
  • Holly and the Ivy
  • O Little Town of Bethlehem
  • O Come All Ye Faithful
  • Silent Night
  • We Wish You a Merry Christmas
