Event Information
Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service
The parade assembles in the Recreation Ground car park, Adlington Road from 10.15am and marches off at 10.40am. The Remembrance Sunday Service starts at 10.55am in the Memorial Gardens. Copies of the service sheet will be available at the Memorial Gardens but a copy of the service sheet can also be viewed here.
There will be a rolling roadblock in place to control the traffic as the parade moves off up Adlington Road and turns left onto the main road to the Memorial Gardens. When the service has finished, at approximately 11.30am, the parade will form up once again to parade back along the same route to the Recreation Ground car park where they will be dismissed. This will also be accompanied by a rolling to roadblock so please be prepared for some traffic delays around these times.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
