Bollington Skate Park
Delivered by a partnership of Bollington Town Council, Cheshire East Council and Mark Pinches.
Bollingtons Skatepark has a brilliant location. It is just off Adlington Road, right next to the viaduct with a river running alongside, surrounded by green tree's and fields. The park itself is a low level open bowl complex with some unique features like the flat bank to rock which you can wallride or stall on. Also there is a quarter pipe to curb stone incorporated into the bowl feature. You can ride around this park all day without needing to push and everything is linked together really well. All the pockets lead you nicely into the pumpbumps or the flatbank hip. Bollington is well worth a visit!
Designed and built by Wheelscape with the help of three local expert users it has proved to be very popular. The week before it opened it was being tested by visitors from all over the North West and this popularity has continued.
Local Photographer - Gabriela Boczkowska in preparation for her end of year 2015 photography show in Macclesfield College captured photographs of talented young skaters refining their skills in Bollington Skate Park
