Bollington United JFC
Teams from Under-7 to Under-16 in the Stockport Metropolitan Junior Football League, as well as an ever growing and succesful Colts Academy for children in the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 age groups.
Macclesfield Soccer 7s
Adult Men’s Open Aged (16 years and older) and Vets (Over 35 year old )
Leagues are played throughout the year as four 10 weeks seasons.

Bollington Cricket Club
Bollington CC is a Clubmark Accredited Club based at Bollington Recreation Ground with 4 senior teams and junior teams running from U11 to U18. They also run Kwik Cricket for U9s and U10s. Senior training Mondays and Thursdays. Junior training Tuesdays. Winter indoor training Sunday evenings. New members always welcome. Visit the website here for more information.
Pott Shrigley Cricket Club
Pott Shrigley CC is based in a picturesque setting nestling beneath Nab Hill. It runs two senior teams plus occasional Sunday friendlies and has a junior section from U9s upwards.

There are tennis courts at Bollington Recreation Ground for public use but currently no tennis club. To join a club visit the Tennis Hub website which lists the various clubs round Cheshire
There are many places around the town to take a jog or do some more serious running. If you want to be a member of a running club you could visit the website for Bollington Harriers here. There are also Park Runs in the area offering weekly 5k runs and junior park runs. Visit their website here for details of venues and how to register.
Macclesfield and District Canoe Club is a club for adults, young people, and families. Our members have a wide range of paddle sport interests including touring, moving water trips, flat water racing, and sea kayaking. The club’s qualified coaches are able to offer training and assessments for national skills awards in many aspects of paddle sport. Regular club meetings, with coaching if required, are held on Monday nights at Bollington and on Thursday nights at Brereton country park from April to September. The ALEX Project is an activity-based sub-group/support group aimed at providing support for those with Parkinson's disease. The group meets at Bollington Leisure Centre every Wednesday morning during term time to encourage Parkinsonians to take part in exercise and remedial massage in what is described as a friendly welcoming environment. The activities covered include group take part in Pilates, tai chi, aqua-exercise, gym activity. Massage and podiatry are also provided as well as the group providing opportunities for peer, carer and social support. In addition, various health and social care service staff visit the group regularly to provide information and on-to-one advice for those in need.
