Events at Bollington Library

The following events are on at Bollington Library in April

 

Tuesday 2nd April: Morning and Evening Library Reading Group.

11-12noon and 6-7pm respectively . Contact the library for more information about joining the group.

 

Thursday 4th April: Story and Tea for Adults,  2pm – 3pm.

Join us for reading and refreshments and share your love of books. No Charge, all adults welcome. 

 

Friday 5th April  through to Saturday 20th April: Children’s Easter Hunt.

Find the Easter pictures hidden around the library. No Charge, during Library opening hours.

 

Tuesday 9th April: Children’s Drop in Lego Afternoon,  12-5pm.

No Charge, drop in.

 

Thursday 11th April: Easter Crafts for Children, 10-4pm.

£2 per child, drop in.

 

Tuesday 16th  April: Evening Library Reading Group.

6-7pm. Contact the library for more information about joining the group.

 

Saturday 20th April: We’re going on a Bear Hunt Storytime, 10-10.30am.

To celebrate 30 years of  “We’re going on a Bear Hunt”  join us for a Children’s Storytime. Suitable for families with toddlers and pre-schoolers.

 

As with all our children’s events, children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Children’s Regular Weekly Events: Storytime at 10am on Tuesdays and Rhyme Time at 10am on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers these sessions are free and continue during school holidays.

 

Date for your diaries: Tuesday 21st May 11am-12noon, Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Reading Groups But Were Afraid To Ask. If you are interested in reading groups and would like to know more then come along to this event. If you are already in a reading group and looking for new members please contact the library if you would like to take part. This event is being held during the Bollington Festival taking place in May.

 

 

We can also offer one to one IT Buddy Tuition and Family History using Ancestry.com and Find My Past. Contact the library for more details, if interested.
