Events at Bollington Library
The following events are on at Bollington Library in October 2019
Tuesday 1st October: Minimakers, Home Ed, 1.30pm – 2.30pm and After School, 4pm – 5pm. Suitable for children aged 7-11 who have an interest in trying out different STEM activities in a fun environment. Activities will include build challenges, crafting, coding and much more. Places are FREE but limited, so book in advance.
Tuesday 1st October: Morning and Evening Library Reading Group. 11am and 6pm respectively . Contact the library for more information about joining the group.
Thursday 3rd October: Story and Tea for Adults, 2pm – 3pm. Join us for reading and refreshments and share your love of books. No Charge, all adults welcome.
Tuesday 8th October: Children’s Home Ed. Lego Club, 11am-12noon. No Charge, drop in.
Tuesday 8th October: Children’s Lego Club, 4pm-5pm. No Charge, drop in.
Thursday 10th October: Tablet & Tea, 10am-12noon – for people who need help with their tablet, phone or laptop, a free drop in session where you can ask your question in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Thursday 10th & 24th October: Knit and Natter, 2pm-4pm. Drop in. (2nd & 4th Thursday of the month)

Thursday 17th October: Get Online Week, 10am-12noon – As part of this week we are offering courses on ‘shopping online’ and ‘mobile and online banking’. You can bring your own device or use the library computers. Free of charge. Booking essential.
Friday 25th October-Saturday 2nd November: Half-term activity - ‘Spooky Hunt’ - Find the spooky pictures hidden around the library.
As with all our children’s events, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Children’s Regular Weekly Events: Storytime at 10am on Tuesdays and Rhyme Time at 10am on Wednesdays and Fridays. Suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers these sessions are free. These will continue during school holidays.

For a small charge, we can also offer one to one IT Buddy Tuition and Family History using Ancestry.com and Find My Past. Contact the library for more details, if interested.
