Sinbad the Sailor

When: 19:30 4th January 2019 – 22:00 13th January 2019

Bollington Festival Players

Sinbad returns from life at sea ready to settle on dry land. That is at least until Evilena frames him for stealing the Persian Pearl of Peace. Sure that Sinbad did no wrong, his friend Prince Said takes his place in jail so Sinbad can try and find the pearl and return it to the people of Constantinople.

Along the way he falls for the Princess, who although promised to the Prince wants some adventure in her life and stows away on Sinbad‘s ship. With help from Tinbad the Tailor, Norma Snickers and her daughter Sally and guided along the way by Fortuna and show stopping songs, Sinbad sets out to put everything straight and save the day. The only people who stand in his way are Evilena and her sidekick the Old Man of the Sea.

Will Sinbad succeed….come along and find out!

“…Following Sinbad the Sailor on his 8th Voyage to recover the Persian Pearl of Peace, this pantomime is well-served by a finely-honed script, containing some good jokes, to create an energetic and amusing show.”

4th, 5th, 6th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Jan 2019 with matinee performances on 5th, 6th and 12th.
