Thursday 1st November: Story and Tea for Adults
2pm – 3pm. Join us for reading and refreshments and share your love of books. No Charge, all adults welcome.
Friday 2nd November: Poppy Themed Crafts for Children
Drop in 2pm-4pm. To celebrate the Centenary of WW1, in partnership with the Royal British Legion. No Charge.
Saturday 3rd November: Book Signing by Local Author, Jenny Martin.
Jenny will be in the Library from 10am-12 noon selling and signing her new book, In Our father’s Footsteps. To commemorate the Centenary of WW1
Tuesday 6th November: Action on Cancer, Drop in session from 9.30am -12 noon.
If you have any questions about Cancer then come and have a chat with the Action on Cancer Team.
Tuesday 6th November : Morning and Evening Library Reading Group.
11am and 6pm respectively . Contact the library for more information about joining.
Tuesday 13th November: Children’s Lego Club
4-5pm. No Charge, drop in.
Saturday 17th November: Author visit by Local Children’s Author, Anya Acres.
Anya will be in the library from 10.30am reading her latest book Ollie Discovers the Planets. You will also have the opportunity to buy a copy and have it signed.
During Half Term week: 27th October to 3rd November there will be a children’s Superhero Character Hunt in the library. During normal opening hours. No Charge.
As with all our children’s events, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Children’s Regular Weekly Events: Story Time at 10am on Tuesdays and Rhyme Time at 10am on Wednesdays and Fridays. Suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers these sessions are free.
We can also offer one to one IT Buddy Tuition and Family History using Ancestry.com and Find My Past. Contact the library for more details, if interested.
