Events at Bollington Library
The following events are on at Bollington Library in May 2019
Thursday 2nd May: Story and Tea for Adults, 2pm – 3pm. Join us for reading and refreshments and share your love of books. No Charge, all adults welcome.
Tuesday 7th May: Morning and Evening Library Reading Group. 11am and 6pm respectively . Contact the library for more information about joining the group.
Saturday 11th May: Bollington’s PCSO will be in the Library. From 10-12 noon. No need to book, just call in.
Tuesday 14th May: Children’s Lego Club, 4-5pm. No Charge, drop in.
Tuesday 21st May: 11am-12noon, Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Reading Groups But Were Afraid To Ask. If you are interested in reading groups and would like to know more then come along to this event. If you are already in a reading group and looking for new members please contact the library if you would like to take part. This event is being held during the Bollington Festival taking place in May from the 10th -27th.
Tuesday 21st May: Evening Library Reading Group. 6pm. Contact the library for more information about joining the group.
Saturday 25th May: Children’s Storytime. 10-10.30am. Suitable for families with toddlers and pre-schoolers. Free event.
Wednesday 29th May: Chester Zoo Visit. 11am-12noon. A Free Children’s event but spaces are limited. Call in to collect your free ticket. Suitable for children aged 5+
Thursday 30th May: Stockley Farm Visit. 10.30-11.30am. Come and meet some of the owls from Stockley Farm. A children’s event, £4 per child, tickets are limited. Suitable for children aged 5+
As with all our children’s events, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Children’s Regular Weekly Events: Storytime at 10am on Tuesdays and Rhyme Time at 10am on Wednesdays and Fridays. Suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers these sessions are free. These will continue during school holidays.
For a small charge, we can also offer one to one IT Buddy Tuition and Family History using Ancestry.com and Find My Past. Contact the library for more details, if interested.
