Events at Bollington Library

The following events are on at Bollington Library in January 2019


Tuesday 8th January: Morning and Evening Library Reading Group.

11am and 6pm respectively . Contact the library for more information about joining.


Tuesday 8th January: Children’s Lego Club  

4-5pm. No Charge, drop in.


Thursday 10th January: Story and Tea for Adults

2pm – 3pm. Join us for reading and refreshments and share your love of books. No Charge, all adults welcome. 


From Monday 14th to Saturday 19th January: Save Money at Your Library Week:


Thursday 17th January: Tablet & Tea 

9.30-11.30am. Need help with your tablet? Drop in with your tablet between these times, where staff can advise or give help whilst enjoying a cup of tea/coffee.

No Charge.


Saturday 19th January: U Switch (online &telephone comparison/switching service)

9.45-10.45am. A representative will be in the Library from U Switch,  giving advice/ presentation on how to save ££ on all your household bills. No Charge.


Tuesday 29th January: New! Children’s Mini Makers Coding Club 

4-5.30pm. Suitable for children aged 7-11 who have an interest in trying out different STEM activities in a fun environment.

Activities will include build challenges, crafting, coding and much more. Places are FREE but limited, so book in advance.


As with all our children’s events, children must be accompanied by an adult.


Children’s Regular Weekly Events: Story Time at 10am on Tuesdays and Rhyme Time at 10am on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers these sessions are free.


We can also offer one to one IT Buddy Tuition and Family History using and Find My Past. Contact the library for more details, if interested.
