Transition Bollington

When: 19:00 23rd January 2019 – 21:00 23rd January 2019

Transition Bollington is a local community network within Bollington, realising the amazing potential of #transition from unsustainable living to clean energy, sustainable lifestyle choices and a low carbon footprint whilst getting united and #connected as a community. Our priority is looking at how Bollington can reduce its Plastic Footprint - reducing single use plastics & plastic waste generated in Bollington - by working with local businesses, organisations, schools, residents and supported by Bollington Town Council. Do you have a Good Idea? All are welcome to post thoughts, ideas and contributions that support & encourage not just Reducing Plastics but other community objectives that promote transition, sustainability, green matters and earth happiness in our community & local economy. For example - community food-growing projects, ‘zerowaste’ ideas, wildflower corridors, electric car charging points, local energy generation, school environmental learning initiatives, community school bus.. etc

If you would like to be on the mailing list to receive dates of future meetings, events, updates etc - please email Transition is for everyone, it is not a top down managed group, it is individuals, neighbours, groups joining together to shape their environment and leave an improved sustainable environmental legacy for future generations.

As part of a global network, communities have access to resources, networking, training, guidance etc through the transition movement.
