Peak Cluster will deploy carbon capture and storage to decarbonise the cement and lime production sector in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The plan is to remove over 3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide per year starting from 2030, storing those emissions in depleted gas fields in the Irish Sea. The speaker is John Egan from Peak Cluster/Progressive Energy.
