Cheshire East Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme
A number of local schools, holiday club providers, community and voluntary organisations work with Cheshire East Council to provide the Cheshire East HAF programme. Their aim is to give children and young people the chance to have healthy happy holidays so they can:
- be more active
- develop and learn
- socialise, have fun and be happy
- get a tasty nutritious meal
- work together and stay safe
Eligibility
The HAF programme is funded nationally by the Department for Education. The Cheshire East HAF programme enables children and young people who live in Cheshire East and/or attend a Cheshire East school who are in receipt of income/benefits-related free school meals to attend free activities during the main school Easter, summer and winter/Christmas holidays, where nutritional food is also provided.
