Consultation on Warning of Road Closure.

The Bollington Festival Parade will take place on Saturday 11th May 2019, leaving Ingersley Road at 11.00 am and finishing at Bollington Health and Leisure Centre at approximately1:00pm. The route will be Ingersley Road, Palmerston Street, Wellington Street and Henshall Road before turning up Ovenhouse Lane and into Heath Road.

The Bollington Festival Committee will be applying to Cheshire East Council for a rolling closure order of the whole route to all vehicular traffic from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm - Ingersley Road to the Flash Lane / Henshall Road junction and Clarke Lane / Bollington Road junction. In addition, roads that feed into the parade route, for example Albert Road and Water Street will be closed from 10:45pm until the parade has passed. Alternative routes for entering and leaving Bollington will be published nearer the time.

If you have any issues that you wish to raise with this proposed rolling closure please contact the Parade Marshall, Roland Edwards, on 01625 574466 or Roland.Edwards@bollington-tc.gov.uk by 31st January 2019.
