Bollington Festival Parade - Road Closure
The Bollington Festival Parade will take place on Saturday 11th May 2019, leaving Ingersley Road at 11.00 am and finishing at Bollington Health and Leisure Centre at approximately1:00pm.
The route will be Ingersley Road, Palmerston Street, Wellington Street and Henshall Road before turning up Ovenhouse Lane and into Heath Road.
There will be a rolling closure order of the whole route to all vehicular traffic from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm - Ingersley Road to the Flash Lane / Henshall Road junction and Clarke Lane / Bollington Road junction. In addition, roads that feed into the parade route, for example Albert Road and Water Street will be closed from 10:45pm until the parade has passed.

From the junction with Spuley Lane to the junction with Ingersley Road
INGERSLEY ROAD, BOLLINGTON
From the junction with Smithy Brow to the junction with Shrigley Road
PALMERSTON STREET, BOLLINGTON
From the junction with Ingersley Road to the junction with Adlington Road
WELLINGTON ROAD, BOLLINGTON
From the junction with Adlington Road to the junction with Albert Road
HENSHALL ROAD, BOLLINGTON
From the junction with Albert Road to the junction with Flash Lane
BOLLINGTON ROAD, BOLLINGTON
From the junction with Flash Lane to the junction with Clarke Lane
The alternative route around Bollington will be via the following streets: - Clarke Lane, Oak Lane, Jackson Lane, Chancery Lane, Lord Street and Church Street.

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
