A planning application has not yet been submitted. If and when one is submitted, the Town Council will publish the details on this website, including the date when the Town Council will consider the application. Our 5 noticeboards throughout the Town will also have this information. Our planning meetings are public and anyone can express their opinion. We may even host another public meeting if there is the demand.

As you may know, Councillors cannot declare their position on whether this should be approved or rejected until the application is presented and all the facts are known. To do so at this stage would be prejudging the matter and would automatically prevent them voting when the application is heard. That is planning law. They can however, as happened at the meeting, establish what is currently known and raise potential issues.
