NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:-

An election is to be held for ONE Town Councillor for Bollington Town Council – Central Ward on Thursday 27th February between the hours of 7.00am and 10.00pm.

Electors and their proxies should take note that:

Any changes to, or cancellations of, existing postal or proxy vote records, and new applications to be treated as postal voters, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, either by hand at the Elections Office, Macclesfield Town Hall, Market Place, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 1EA, or by post at the Elections Office, Macclesfield Town Hall, c/o Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 2BJ by no later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 12 February 2020 if they are to be effective for this election. You must allow sufficient time for posted applications to be received in the Elections Office by the deadline.

All new applications for proxy voting arrangements must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, either by hand at the Elections Office, Macclesfield Town Hall, Market Place, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 1EA, or by post at the Elections Office, Macclesfield Town Hall, c/o Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 2BJ by no later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 19 February 2020, if they are to be effective for this election. You must allow sufficient time for posted applications to be received in the Elections Office by the deadline.

All applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity, or for work/service reasons, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, either by hand at the Elections Office, Macclesfield Town Hall, Market Place, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 1EA, or by post at the Elections Office, Macclesfield Town Hall, c/o Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, Cheshire, CW1 2BJ by 5.00pm on Thursday 27 February 2020 if they are to be effective for this election.

You must allow sufficient time for posted applications to be received in the Elections Office by the deadline. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5.00pm on Wednesday 19 February 2020. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5.00pm on Wednesday 19 February 2020.
