Pool Bank Car Park Re-marking to Create 12 Extra Spaces Starts Thursday 7th February

Date: 5th February 2019
Published by: David Naylor

After a number of false starts due to poor weather the re-marking to Create 12 extre spaces Starts Thursday 7th February and finshes the day after. Again caveats about the weather !!!

This will be weather dependent. The work should take 2 days with half the car park closed each day. The purpose of this work, funded by Bollington Town Council and carried out by Cheshire East Highways, is to create extra marked out spaces and prevent lots of car owners who currently park in these unmarked "spaces" being targetted by parking enforcement officers. As we have said repeatedly to Cheshire East targetting these people damages Bollington's retail and tourism ecomomy at the expence of creating extra revenue for Cheshire East.

Getting to this stage has taken longer than we expected and we have been faced with reducing the depth of the recycling bank bay.

We appologise for any inconvenience during this work
