Below are the SID printouts showing the data from Bollington Traffic Survey which started this month: The Town Council's Traffic and Highways working group is producing a traffic and speed map of Bollington to identify actions to make Bollington safer.

  • Dumbah Lane capturing data from traffic coming from the Prestbury Direction. This is a derestricted road but is also part of the Cheshire Cycle Way.
  • Flash Lane capturing data from traffic coming from the Prestbury Direction. This is a derestricted road

The data shows the number of vehicles passing the detector and their speed by hour and by day. It also shows average speed, maximim speed and the 85th percentile which means it leaves out the highest 15 percent . It is a figure used widely by traffic engineers

Please note the start and end dates may not have the full 24hrs data and show blank time slots because the machine was not counting during those times. It was awaiting being positioned or had been taken down awaiting relocation. However any recorded data for the time slots was for the road indicated.
