Our Wardens
You may have seen our Town Wardens out and about in the town. The Warden role was created to deliver in-house care and maintenance for our buildings and assets and to enhance the service Cheshire East Council is able to offer in keeping Bollington looking good.
In between looking after our Civic Hall and Town Hall the wardens also manage the Sensory Garden, the MUGA at the Atax Field and our five notice boards.
Although the Town Council does not have responsibility for cleaning signs and cutting back vegetation and so on there are occasions when the wardens will do a small scale makeover to improve areas in the town.
They assist with road closures for parades and markets, having undertaken the necessary road traffic management qualifications and do most of the setting up and clearing up for our rich program of events.
